NIC Groundbreaking for North Idaho College Science Building
The groundbreaking for North Idaho College’s new 1.1 million Science Building will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, on the site west of the College Library. Special Assistant R. J. Bruning for Governor Cecil Andrus and area legislators will attend along with Rep. Emery Hedlund and Per manent Building Fund Council members. The project marks NIC’s first major construction financed by state and federal funds, with completion planned for September 1974. Architect is R. G. Nelson of Coeur d'Alene and contractor Coman Construction, Inc. of Spokane. Public invited.
