Raw milk debate centers on health risks and freshness

Ward chosen to replace Klatt on Sandpoint City Council

Sandpoint selects Doug Ward, Planning and Zoning chair, to succeed Steven Klatt when he resigns June 1. Man pleads innocent to rape and lewd conduct charges

Rockford man Harry Honea aged 34 pleaded innocent in Seventh District Court at Blackfoot Idaho to forcible rape of a 15 year old girl and lewd conduct with a girl ages 12 and 16. Judge Arnold Beebe ordered Honea held in Blackfoot jail on a $50,000 bond citing mental illness claim.

Be Wary Of The Salesman At Laclede Idaho

A Bonner County barmaid fell for a traveling salesman named Marcus Laverne Sherbourne who offered vinyl windbreaker jackets with Totem Inn branding. After paying $30 for 24 jackets he vanished. Sherbourne is wanted by the FBI in multiple states for fraud and other crimes with numerous aliases. Sheriff Mike Guthrie urged caution for locals, advising verification of identification and no down payments before delivery.

School Trustees Approve New Classroom Additions

The board chose Architects West to design classroom additions and remodeling at Sagle and Southside. After interviews with Environmental Concern Inc and others, trustees unanimously agreed to build in the same style as the Heist addition at Sagle.
