Dover Rocky Point sewer bond passes in district vote
Voters in the Rocky Point Sewer District approve a bond up to 200000 for a new sewer system serving Dover Syringa Heights and Rocky Point. Unconstitutional Attachment Writ Quashed in Idaho Case
Idaho District Court Judge Dar Cogswell ruled that pre judgement attachment of real property violates due process under the 14th Amendment and is unconstitutional. The case Idaho First National Bank versus Estate of Al Rogers and LaVerne Rogers centers on a writ dated June 2 1972 attaching Rogers property in Bonners Ferry after a dispute over a vehicle contract. The ruling cited Sniadach v Family Finance Corp and Fuentes v Shevin to assert that procedural due process applies to all property and pre judgement attachment is improper.
