Judge Predicts July Jury End In Hofmeister Case

Grand jury to be empaneled April 7 by order of Special Prosecutor Thomas Frost in the Hofmeister homicide investigation. Judge Dar Cogswell says the panel will sit until about July 1 and may probe matters beyond the case if in the public interest. Voir dire will be led by Cogswell with help from Weiss and Frost. names to be released.

Northern Lights Project Poised for Kootenai Falls

Northern Lights Inc weighs a $50 million hydro dam on the Kootenai River 3.5 miles east of Troy Montana at Kootenai Falls to meet 1983 load growth.
