Disagreement Over Lake Pend Oreille Fishery Decline Report
A letter from the Idaho Forum Group challenges Mr. Ortman and the IFG plan. It argues the decline is caused by the Cabinet Gorge Dam and pollution, not just monitoring and restocking, and demands addressing the dam and pollution as primary actions. The authors urge earlier public disclosure of recommendations and support stronger corrective measures.
