Health Department reorganization plan eyed by state board

Drowned Man Identified in Spokane River Death
The body of Clyde A. Thorne 45 Spokane was identified as the drowned raft rider found on the Spokane River west side. Thorne died June 6 when the raft struck a bridge abutment east of Spokane during a trip from the Idaho Washington line toward Maribou Park. His 14 year old son survived with two others.
