UPI reports in Horseshoe Bend Idaho that payette river recovery efforts were halted after Harold Morris 30 Boise said he was alone in the submerged car and returned to Boise. A road to the river edge allowed a crane to search for the vehicle as 100 spectators watched.

Murder charge in Boise robbery case filed
Paul G. Hatten, 27, Boise, faced a first degree murder charge at arraignment for the Friday morning Boardway Avenue Seven-Eleven robbery in Boise. Mark Charles Hatten, 21, Boise, died from head wounds after a shooting at the scene. A preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday before Judge Alan Schwartzman with no bail set.
