Idaho to Get Full Federal Aid for Teton Dam Damaged Roads
Federal officials in Boise indicated Idaho would receive 100 percent funding to repair roads damaged by the Teton Dam disaster. Ed Wood of the Idaho FHWA office told the State Transportation board that emergency relief funds would cover all routes in the flood area. The board was assured funds for 32-10 off system roads and that most disaster area roads would be open for emergency traffic soon. The Perrine Bridge, west of Twin Falls, is to open two lanes by July 16 to aid construction crews.
