The Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce Board drafted a three part recommendation on the Bonner County highway project. They urge an immediate feasibility study on three routes and abandonment of the Popsicle Stick Road. A county commission dispatch is urged to implement the feasibility findings.

School Board to Hear Sex Education Findings June 9
Bonner County School District 82 schedules a regular meeting Tuesday at 7 30 p m. The Sex Education Committee will present final findings and recommendations after a month of study on text material in use. All district schools dismiss at noon Friday June 5 with buses at 3 30 p m.

Lifeguards to Guard Sandpoint Beach Daily
Bob Lindsay, Supt of Parks and Recreation, announced lifeguards will be on station at Sandpoint beach daily from Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration for swimming lessons available at the lifeguard stand during hours. Docks and diving tower remain fixed until water rises. water temperature remains cool but some youngsters still plunge.
