Carey Killed At Priest River Mill
Priest River resident David T Carey was killed instantly when struck by a metal plate while operating a wood chipper at Louisiana Pacific Corporation Priest River Mill. Sheriff Dave Hare said the machine overloaded and Carey shut off power as the metal lid flew off, injuring him on the head. He lived in Priest River all his life and is survived by his wife Carol and two children.
