The Sandpoint Racquet Club seeks new members to boost tennis interest with a summer program and lessons. Club president Jim Parsons Jr. says the drive runs now to June 2, with lessons June 12 to 16, and invites inquiries to Dr. Jerry Lewis or Parsons at local offices. A men’s tennis ladder has begun, with names added as members join.
A long list of local meetings and events is announced including nursing education session at North Idaho College on June 5 at 7 p.m. and Bonner County Fair Board on June 1 at 8 p.m. at Sandpoint Court House. Also noted are club meetings, rummage sales, horsemen gatherings, and youth and veterans activities with various dates in early June.
The K and K Committee has chosen button 439 as the fourth of five picks. The button must be returned to the North Idaho Realty office by 5 p.m. Monday, June 5.
