Thirsty Thieves Take Beer Delivery Truck Stolen
Deputies report a Hamms beer delivery truck was stolen in front of the Chateau Restaurant near Sandpoint at 5 15 pm. A bearded heavyset man plus two to three others fled the scene and abandoned the vehicle on Rapid Lightning Creek Road. About 40 cases of beer were taken before the truck was left, with officers on scene within minutes.
