Lions Discuss Beach Watering and Beach Improvement
A Lions Club special committee met with Mayor Les Brown and Parks Superintendent Bob Lindsay to address inadequate watering of Sandpoint City Beach. The group, prompted by a letter in the Daily Bee, was assured improvements would continue, including new two inch pipes, with further work pending. Proceeds from the Beach Benefit Bar-B-Que on July 29 support beach projects.
