Carlson Enlists in Navy under School Guarantee Program
James Holmes Carlson of Sandpoint Idaho, son of Mr and Mrs Thomas H Carlson, has enlisted in the United States Navy. A Sandpoint High School graduate he enters the Navy's School Guarantee Program and is undergoing recruit training in San Diego California. He will learn basic sailor skills including fire fighting swimming first aid nautical rules of the road knot tying water safety and survival and basic seamanship.
