Help Wanted to Save a Wilderness by Ted Trueblood

Ted Trueblood urges readers to support wilderness protection for Idaho's Salmon River and Chamberlain Basin. He recounts 1964 expectations, 1973 Forest Service hearings, and 1974 cuts by the Ford administration, arguing Boise Cascade pressure and political moves endanger the Idaho Primitive Area and its wild rivers. He calls for citizen action, letters, and donations to the River of No Return Wilderness Council.
