Bonner County trustees clash over citizen committee to back levy
Bonner County School Board members debated forming a 15 member citizen committee to help communicate the district's building needs ahead of a plant facility levy. Trustees argued over who should appoint members and whether principals or area residents should select them. The panel aims to inform the public, while critics warned against overloading the effort. The board also approved three new aides for the districts special education program amid looming federal funding changes.
