Idaho to Reexamine WWP Rate Increase This Winter
Idaho Public Utilities Commission will rehear its November decision granting Washington Water Power Co. a 1.6 million rate hike for gas and electricity. A public hearing is set for February 15 to 18 in Coeur d Alene at the request of WWP, the Bunker Hill Co., and staff. WWP sought nearly 4 million in higher rates. the order granted about 41 percent of that, raising electrical rates by 6.42 percent and natural gas by 1.13 percent for Idaho customers.
