Boise sheriff officials say a construction worker, previously held for threats, killed his estranged wife Nila Mae Bell 29 and then shot himself at their Five Mile Road home. Their son Anthony seven found them at 10 pm. Bell had parked nearby, removed phone lines, and forced entry. evidence shows a struggle over a high powered rifle before the double tragedy. Palmer noted Bell’s history of threats and that officers had tried to prevent further harm. He added proposed laws would let officers detain disturbed persons for 72 hours to seek psychiatric aid.

Dairy Store Break-In At Kwik Stop Dairy 829 Highway 2
Early yesterday morning unknown suspects broke into the Kwik Stop Dairy Store at 829 Highway 2 stealing about 45 dollars of candy and gum. Entry was gained by breaking a side window and the alarm appears to have been turned off inside. About 35 dollars in window damage. In a separate case a stolen car reported Tuesday was recovered near the Bronx Substation after a resident complained the vehicle blocked a driveway. The car was stolen from a Gas and Go lot and had keys left under the front seat. police reported no apparent damage.
