Family Driven From Home By Kitchen Fire
A Sunday fire at the Kootenai home of Mr and Mrs Hank Cornelia caused extensive smoke damage when a pan of grease exploded on the stove. The couple was inside and uninjured while the family dog was killed. Northside Fire District responded around 3 45 p m using about 100 gallons of water to extinguish the blaze. Most damage came from smoke.
