Dr. Wilbur C. Hayden Dies at 64 in Sandpoint

Bonner County physician Dr. Wilbur C. Hayden died at 64 on December 17 at his Sandpoint home after a long medical career. He served in World War II earning the Silver and Bronze Stars, practiced in California before the war, came to Sandpoint in 1946, and was active in medical groups and public health planning. Funeral set for December 20 at 1:00 PM at Moon Chapel with interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Toy Center Opens Open House and Clothing Drive

Skinna Lou Hook announces an open house at the Toy Center Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm to show the work done. New Story Hour Begins After Final Sandpoint Session

The Sandpoint City Library will run its last Story Hour of the current series tomorrow morning. A new series starts Friday January 9 for children aged 4 and 5 with 25 slots. Registration must occur during library hours with priority given to those previously turned away. Story Hour runs Fridays 10 to 11.
