Lost hiker Eric Goldsberry returns home after Baldy Mountain hike
Richard W. Goldsberry reported his 21 year old son Eric failed to return from a Baldy Mountain hike near the plane crash site. He left a note and planned to return by 1 p.m. Tuesday. A search by the family and friends, aided by a bloodhound team, found him walking home at about 8 p.m. saying he had been lost but found his way back.

Crash Victim Identified in Clark Fork River
The body of 52 year old Clark Fork man Frank F Snider was found Tuesday morning trapped in a submerged pickup in the Clark Fork River. Police reported the 1972 Ford pickup left Highway 200 east of Clark Fork, severing guardrail posts and becoming airborne before landing in the river. Sheriff Guthrie and Idaho State Police led the search after guardrail posts and river tracks were found three miles east of town.
