Sandpoint Schools Post Fresh Year Schedule and Registration
Sandpoint Junior High and Sandpoint Senior High announce schedule pickup and student registration for the new school year. Registration runs 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Seniors pick up on Monday August 21, juniors on Tuesday 22, and sophomores on Wednesday 23.

SHS to Begin Football Daily Doubles on Monday
Sandpoint head coach Ken Beaudoin announced daily doubles start Monday August 21 with 9 am and 4 pm sessions. Uniforms go out August 19 for seniors at 9 am juniors at 10 am and sophomores at 10 30. The red and white game is Saturday August 26 at 2 pm free to the public. Freshmen report 9 am Monday with physicals and gear distributed next week.

Jorgensen-Yager Wed In Seattle Ceremony
Kris Jorgensen and Anne Yager were married in Seattle in a double ring ceremony on August 11. Judge Quigley officiated. The couple’s families reside in Seattle and Sandpoint. The bride wore a navy and white street length dress. maid of honor was Mrs. Thomas C. Jorgensen and best man was Gene Juarez. A reception followed at a private home. The bride attended Northwestern University and University of Puget Sound, and works as an occupational therapy director for Bellevue Public Schools. The groom, a University of Idaho graduate, runs his own architectural firm Arne Yanger and Associates. The couple will live at 1012 Mast Belmont, Seattle, after Labor Day.
