Sand Point FFA Seeks Alumni Group Formation
Sand Point High School FFA members are urged to contact the SHS club to form an alumni association. Steve Hepperle, SHS FFA project chairman, wants ex-members by mail or in person to organize this spring. He cites about 300 area alumni and notes the national alumni group began last fall.

Cox Donates Travler's Rooms for Visiting Media
Cox provides rooms at the Travlers motel in Sandpoint for Kamloops and Kokanee visiting newswriters and sportscasters at bare cost plus uses the banquet room for K and K meetings and the Friday evening party. About 20 reporters stay together for briefings and fishing assignments with a Lake Pend Oreille outing and Alibi barge lunch on May 5. Cox also owns Edgewater Lodge and the Diamond W.
