Sadat Attacks U S Deception in Middle East Policy
Cairo—President Anwar Sadat accused the United States of deception and cheating in its Middle East policy as he prepared for a Moscow trip to seek offensive fighters and missiles. He warned against rushing into hysterics or a domestic explosion while Egypt readies for battle with Israel. He told journalists and leaders that U S support remains a factor, and that his delegation would review the conflict before Nixon’s Moscow visit next month.
