Truck tumbles from hydraulic rack at Paul’s Chevron station

Paul Tillberg veteran of 18 years lifting cars on racks reported a General Telephone service truck fell from the hydraulic rack at Paul’s Chevron station Thursday evening. He suggested an improperly set brace on the rack may have caused the accident. The truck sustained dents and scrapes amounting to several hundred dollars in damage with no injuries.

A sorrel gelding with no brand was found Thursday around 4 p.m. at a Lawrence residence on Upper Pack River Road. Bonner County Sheriffs office asks the owner to contact them to identify the horse.

Sandpoint High School player Jeff DeMers suffered minor injuries in a motorcycle accident about 5 15 p m between Sand Creek and Burlington Northern tracks north of the B and B Distributors beer warehouse. He was treated at Bonner General Hospital and released.
