Six Suspects Detained In Hope Burglary Ring
Bonner County deputies report six suspects tied to burglaries at the Edward Bobby residence in Hope from November through February. A Hope youth and two more juveniles are detained or sought, with two adults, including Michael Cunningham, arrested on burglary charges. Items recovered include electronics, tools, firearms, jewelry, and the homeowner had marked serials and SSNs to aid recovery.

Man Wounded In Accident In Priest River
Dale Kirkhart a 20 year old Priest River man received a minor flesh wound when a pistol handed to him by a friend discharged striking his leg while they hunted gophers late yesterday afternoon in Priest River. He was taken to Newport Hospital around 7 30 pm the bullet was removed and he was released. Chief Deputy Dave Hare and Deputy Ernie Nagel are investigating the shooting.
