Schweitzer Basin snow courses show about twenty percent below average water content and depths. At 6100 feet on Schweitzer ridge snow averaged 101 inches with 40.1 inches of water, the lowest since monitoring began six years ago. At 4500 feet near the lodge snow averaged 76 inches with 29.3 inches of water, the second lowest on record.
