Two Killed in Highway 51 Wreck South of Sandoval
At 9 40 p m Tuesday a car with Benny D Robertson 18 and Robert Dwain Holstlaw 20 both Glenridge residents crashed on a bridge just south of Sandoval killing them instantly. Gene Hoskey Glenridge sustained serious injuries and was rushed to St Marys hospital as funeral plans for the deceased remained incomplete.

The Odin Legion Post 671 beat the Sandoval Blue Devils 39 26 at Odin on Monday night December 8. Sandoval led 8 6 after the first quarter but the Legion pulled away, leading 17 11 at halftime and 23 18 entering the final period for a 13 point margin. Holsapple 14 Meredith 10 Hawley 9 Morgan 4 Staton 2 led Odin. Sandoval scorers included Gen 9 E Barnett 13 and Mason 2.

Mrs T M Session Dies Sudden in Nevada
News comes of the sudden death of Mrs. T. M. Session of Sandoval while visiting her sister in Las Vegas Nevada on December 9. She had been living with Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Hildebrand in Sandoval. Burial plans awaited as press time. body to be taken to Farina Illinois for interment.
