Chevrolet plans May production exceeding April's 12,286 units with over 2,000 daily output across 26 working days. April total of 52,286 included cars and trucks from Flint and seven plants plus Oshawa for domestic and foreign sale. If May runs full, Chevrolet potential aggregate approaches 193,050 units since February. Highest single day was 4,064 on April 30.

Lusty dies on Wallace Creek in San Saba County
Harry Lusty, 61, native of England, died Tuesday in Wallace Creek area after years of declining health. He had lived in San Saba County 25 years, leaves a wife and six children, and his body was buried in Wallace cemetery beside his brother. Surviving relatives include one brother and three sisters in England.
