Students Seek Shelter In Tunnel During Cyclone
Stephenville Texas June 18. When the twister neared John Tarleton College students fled to the campus tunnel an underground corridor six feet square used for pipes and wires. The cyclone veered east of town damaging homes outbuildings and cars. J R Ellis died Monday night from injuries and his three daughters were in serious condition.

Mrs H H Taylor who underwent a major operation in a Temple hospital two months ago is now up and getting along nicely. Leslie Burnham of Shaw Bend visited San Saba Saturday and reported his pecan crop was damaged fifty percent by the case bearer in the past two weeks.
