Stewart 49 of Lometa were held at 5 pm Saturday June 26 in Howell Dorand Chapel with ministers officiating Burial followed at Senerfitt Cemetery under Howell Doran Funeral Home direction Stewart a trucker farmer and rancher died Friday June 19 at San Saba Memorial Hospital He was born November 26 1914 in Williamson County married Ethel Faye Ballinger August 9 1988 at Killeen Survivors include his wife three daughters six sons father two dozen relatives and one grandchild

Mrs. John Felts, former San Saba resident and 1959 San Saba High School graduate, is among 50 teachers from 16 states enrolled in the eighth annual American Studies Program at Abilene Christian College. The program, funded by the Coe Foundation, offers a workshop and refresher courses in government, history, education, and speech with fellowships.
