San Saba county has reached 54 percent of its quota in the Series E Savings Bonds Opportunity Drive. County chairman IL CC Ward announced the drive opened May 16 and sales through May 21 totalled 16912 dollars against a county quota of 81000. Texas sales reached 19460304, or 52 percent of the state quota. Mills and Lampasas counties are listed as meeting or exceeding quotas.
