Llano Dam to be Raised Five Feet
Llano Texas February 17 1927 engineers from Texas Pony and Light Company will begin raising the Llano River dam by about five feet to form a larger lake. The old lake will be dredged returned flood gates added and land under option including pecan and fruit orchards. The Badu tourist park will be flooded and the high power line will be connected as work starts this week.
