The Live Oak Fairview Club met with Mrs. I C Sutton on February 14 with six members present. The next meeting will be with Mrs. W A Jones on February 28 in hopes of receiving yearbooks. The report urges members to start work earnestly. A concrete sidewalk and curbing project is under way at the Arhelger Shop front this week.
In Menderson and Henderson, two one-armed golfers faced off on the revival course. Herndon claimed victory over Henderson after a tight clash as both players weighed the question of which arm was stronger for golf.

The Educational Committee of the Interscholastic League met February 18 and allowed first second and third grade children to enter the County Meet Story Telling Contest. Each school may send two pupils from any three grades but not two from the same grade. Individual rewards will be given. Teachers can learn training instructions in the Interscholastic Leaguer starting with the September issue.
R. T. Rich traveled to Austin Sunday to be with his son R. L. Rich who remains in the hospital recovering from an appendicitis operation. Robi is getting along nicely. His mother is still with him.
Sunday services include Sunday School at 9 46 a m and preaching at 11 a m Young People's at 6 30 p m Preaching announced. Rev RE E Thomson reports performing the marriage of Morris Lusty and Elsie Foulger at the minister's residence in San Skba last Tuesday night. Lusty a Wallace community farmer. Elsie daughter of Ed and Mrs Foulgeri Bethel community and a longtime Wallace teacher.
