San Saba Tourism Push Sparks Historic Museum Plans
On a clear spring start, San Saba promotes tourism with rodeo in June and a PTA County Fair in August. The San Saba Historical Society gains court house space for a county museum, led by Sherman Russell and Jack Spurlock as key organizers, to showcase local heritage and branding.

Death of six month old son of Joe Cox
Word has been received of the death of the six month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cox from spinal meningitis. The baby died in Fort Worth Children's Hospital and was buried in Savoy. The Coxes have two other children. We extend sympathy.
