Mr and Mrs Homer Hilliard of San Saba announce the marriage of their daughter Yvonne Watkins to Ernest Main. The couple wed in San Saba on January 31 and will reside in Pampa where he works for a pipeline company. Fe soils lose structure when calcium or phosphorous are removed by cropping or leaching.

Floyd L. Smith a Purina Chow salesman from San Saba has earned Purina's top sales honor joining the General Salesmanager’s Advisory Board. His 1957 sales record and service to livestock and poultry feeders earned the recognition, announced at Purina headquarters in St. Louis. He credited local Purina dealers for the achievement at the board meeting February 2 to 4 in Los Angeles with his wife.
Mr and Mrs Lon Low of Abi lene visited relatives in San Saba during the weekend. Mr and Mrs Poley Millican visited Sunday evening in Lampasag with her parents Mr and Mrs Albert McCrea.
Services for Mrs. W. S. Graham were held at the Baptist Church in Hamlin on Feb. 6 with burial in Hamlin Cemetery. The former Lara Ann Burleson died Feb. 4 in a Stanford hospital from a heart ailment. Survivors include son Prentice S. Graham of Wichita Falls, four daughters, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous relatives in San Saba County.
