Cayce rites held in San Saba for 86 year old William Cayce
Funeral services for William Brice Cayce 86 were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday Feb 9 at the Church of Christ in San Saba with ministers Helen L. Jackson Joseph C. Malone and R V Hamilton officiating. Cayce died Tuesday in San Saba after years of ill health. Surviving are six children, 21 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Born May 26 1868 in Franklin Tennessee he moved to San Saba in 1931 and was a member of the Church of Christ Burial was in City Cemetery.

Survived by widow Linner and a large list of children and relatives including Henry Casey Houston Alton Casey Chrics man Carlton Casey Altadena Calif J B Casey Brady and several daughters in Corpus Christi Andrews Jal N M Garden Grove Calif and others. Casey a Mississippi native born Nov 11 1870 married July 6 1894 came to this country in 1937 a Methodist. Burial in Blackjack Community Cemetery.

Acting secretary-treasurer Joe Herrington read January minutes, approved, with district meeting set for Kerrville on April 19 and a March council to nominate delegates. Each club to elect a THDA delegate for the state meeting.
