Mrs Mary Ellen Armentrout wife of A A Armentrout died at the family home and was buried in the Algeria graveyard on Monday afternoon. A Tennessee native she moved to Texas as a child and was 50 years 8 months 7 days old. She joined the Richland Springs Baptist church about three years ago. Funeral services were led by Rev G W Light pastor of the San Saba Baptist church. The family has the community’s sympathy.
The Methodist service and sermon scheduled for last Sabbath morning were postponed to next Sunday at 11:00 am with the sermon titled The San Saba Methodist Church and the War. Evening services in February will be at 7 pm per Pastor V. Liles.

W E Campbell and wife of Brady visited Mrs M Campbell over the weekend. After February 1 laundry will be paid by the driver or else the bundle must be returned. No payments after April 1 and no extra for a collector. If cash cannot be provided, do not send laundry.
