Mrs C G Inglish Dies at Home in Brownwood
Mrs C G Inglish widow of a former district clerk died peacefully Friday night. She was born Dora Belle Alexander of Missouri and married Sept 14 1892. The family moved to Texas in 1908 and settled in 1910. Burial was in City Cemetery. Survived by two sons E C Inglish of San Antonio and Dr Inglish of Dallas. Funeral held Saturday at First Baptist Church with Rev Sam D Taylor and Rev R K McCall officiating. Pallbearers listed.

County Council Regular Meeting of Home Demonstration Clubs
The County Council of the Home Demonstration clubs of San Saba met in regular session on Saturday January 20 in the district court room with about 15 members from four clubs. Miss Lorena Dry urged reading the Manuels and rules, requested scholarship fund deposits by February 3, outlined the Farm Home Survey Program, and after a business session and committee appointments the council adjourned to meet in February.

Mrs Etta N Ringgold will replace Dry in San Saba and has served as agent in Bee Milam Hidalgo Live Oak and Sutton counties. The change was announced by Miss Kate Adele Hill at a Commissioners Court meeting.

Mrs Hurt Injured In Sunday Auto Wreck
Mrs Vera Daniels Donald suffered severe bruising and a deep arm injury when her Ford coupe collided with a truck driven by Mrs Jim Sutton near the First Baptist church intersection on Sunday around 11 o clock. She received immediate medical aid and was reported to be recovering steadily by Wednesday.

Poll Taxes Paid To Tuesday Night In San Saba

That President's Birthday Ball A Great Big Success
The charity birthday ball in honor of President Roosevelt's 52nd birthday was a marked success Tuesday night. Burglars Enter Grammar School Cafetera
Burglars broke into the Cafetera grammar school Saturday night, prising loose window screens and breaking a glass to unlock a window. They stole a considerable amount of candies and a few groceries. No arrests have been made. The school is run by Mrs J E Hayden and sponsored by the PTA.
