Funeral of Mr H C Sedberry at Berry's Creek Cemetery
Funeral services for Mr H C Sedberry were held at Berry's Creek Cemetery Tuesday afternoon with Presiding Elder Sam G Thompson of the Georgetown District Methodist Episcopal Church South conducting. He transferred property to his wife and children during his final days, and a body found near Barstow California with the bank’s initials matching him confirmed the death. He lived near Georgetown since 1887 and leaves six children, including Mrs H A Rogers, Mrs Sig Bloomquist, Clarence Sedberry, Lawrence, Clint, and Minnie Sedberry. The funeral drew many friends and reflected his quiet, hardworking character. Williamson County Sun notes his death followed by a visit from the Owan family.
