San Marino Library seeks alternate trustee for new building
The San Marino City Council approved a new library building and the Library Board of Trustees seeks one alternate to attend all meetings usually held at 7:30 a.m. on the third Monday. The alternate has voting rights when regular trustees are absent and may participate in selecting an architect and planning funding. Previous alternates have moved to regular roles. Valentine School Fall Fest 2001 Scheduled for Oct 6
Valentine PTA invites the San Marino community to a Fall Fest 2001 Family Fair on Saturday October 6 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on the Valentine School Playground. Activities include face painting Gone Fishin Booth Bozo’s Buckets Duck Pond Basketball Toss Golf Putting Tip the Cat Frisbee Toss and an all day Live Variety Show with snacks and games for all ages. San Marino High School released the names of 16 seniors who qualified as semifinalists in the 47th National Merit Scholarship competition. The finalists compete for about 8,000 scholarships totaling over 32 million dollars next spring. The program drew 1.2 million entrants from over 20 thousand high schools nationwide.
