Governor Ronald Reagan announced the appointment of R D Barger of San Marino to the Committee on Uniform State Laws replacing George R Richter Jr of Pasadena. Barger, a Republican and former State Commissioner of Insurance, resigning in 1972, is a lawyer in private practice with Kalmbach DeVMarce Knapp and Chillingworth in Los Angeles and Newport Beach. He earned a BA from the University of Indiana and a JD from USC. he is married to Ann Fenwick and they have four children. They reside on San Marino Avenue.
