San Marino Grammar School begins September 17 with new faculty and reconfigured grades while high schoolers start September 10. The grammar addition’s interior work rushes to finish by early fall. Bus routes remain within city limits, with two trips along Huntington Drive and Granada Avenue. Junior high students in seventh and eighth grades stay at San Marino Grammar School. ninth and tenth graders attend the new South Pasadena Junior High School on Fair Oaks Avenue. About fifteen graduates enroll in the junior high. remaining graduates head to Alhambra or Pasadena high schools. South Pasadena High School will absorb eleventh and twelfth graders from San Marino.
