USC Interim Director Named for Comprehensive Cancer Center
Dr. Brian E. Henderson, longtime USC faculty member and former department chair, becomes interim director as the university prepares to open the $37 million Kenneth Norris Jr Cancer Hospital and Research Institute on the Health Sciences campus. He will help guide the center during the search for a permanent director and oversee the hospital’s 1983 opening. Henderson, a California native, is a noted epidemiologist with 163 publications and is married with five children.
