Seven New Eagle Scouts Earned by Troop 351 in San Marino
Seven boys from Troop 351 San Marino were honored as Eagle Scouts at a Sunday ceremony in the Henry Huntington Auditorium. Rare Book Auction at Library Next Thursday
The 4th annual Rare Book Auction will be held at the library Thursday evening with inspection at 6:30 and bidding at 7:30 pm. A large donation from James Greene’s estate funds about 50 lots of California and Western history books, Zamarano Club keepsakes, and Fine printing. About 100 lots total include Book Club of California publications and oversized photography books.

Valentine School Opens With Ribbon Cutting and Book Fair
The new Valentine School building is complete and invites the community to a dedication on Monday November 13 2000. The Valentine PTA will host a ribbon cutting from 930 to 1030 in the new courtyard, paired with the annual book fair The Magical Mystical World of Books running 815 to 400 daily Monday through Thursday and 600 to 800 pm.
