Irving G King to Attend Rotary International Convention
Irving G King will represent San Marino Rotary Club at the Rotary International convention in Atlantic City. Scout Camp Opened to All Girls in Angeles Crest
Pasadena and San Marino Girl Scout Camp Singing Pines opens to girls aged 10 to 18 in the Angeles Crest Forest. Marine Colonel Fox Receives Air Medal With Citation
Col. William J. Fox of the Marine Corps was awarded the Air Medal with Citation at El Toro Marine Corps Air Station. Gen. Ivan Miller presented the honor for five missions against Japanese bases in the Central Pacific from May 3 to May 17, 1945. Honor Court Closes Year For Scouts
San Marino Boy Scouts held their Court of Honor at Huntington School with Mark Harrington as chairman. Troop 5 led by Scoutmaster Gordon Pickett and committee chair Dan S. Hammack Jr. organized the event. opening ceremony was by Assistant Scoutmaster Charles Peter Jr. Buglers sounded Assembly and colors were posted after the pledge oath and invocation by Rev.
