Pasadena High School Prepares Largest Graduation Class
Pasadena High announces the largest graduating class in its history, with 186 diplomas to be awarded next month. Principal Alman notes the 1928 class had 132 graduates and expects a larger turnout as the ceremony features Miss Speik as speaker, Priscilla Scales salutatorian, and George C. Pasquilito Drive Bid Call Set for June Council
City Engineer William Chalmers says a resolution calling for bids to improve Pasquilito drive will be read at the June 12 bi monthly session. The plan covers paving 1000 feet with curbs and gutters from Granada avenue to near Raymond wash and then south to Huntington drive. Land for the project was recently condemned by city proceedings.
