At the regular meeting of the George S. Stoneman Parent-Teacher Association Mrs. Joseph T. Whittemore was elected president for the coming year. Others named include Mrs. E. C. Myers as first vice president and Mrs. Roy C. Ensign as second vice president and recording secretary. The garden bridge party hostesses and donors were thanked. Mrs. H. C. Baldwin spoke on Modern Education. Dorothy Myers, daughter of Mrs. Myers, played piano solos as part of the program.

Auto Crashes Spark Fire Departmen t Responses
Monday morning two cars collided at San Marino Avenue and Huntington Drive. Francis Graves and driver Dick Moyer suffered minor injuries and both cars were badly damaged, one catching fire before firefighters subdued it. A second collision at Huntington Drive and San Gabriel Boulevard damaged Elinor Engels’s, Rosemead, car with minor injuries to Engels. Judge Northrup disposed of several traffic violations Tuesday morning.
