Firefighters Host Pancake Breakfast At Lacy Park
The San Marino Firefighters Association hosts the annual pancake breakfast at Lacy Park this Saturday May 20 from 7 00 a m to 11 30 a m. The event attracts hundreds and features clowns silent auction raffle hot air balloon and fire engine rides. San Marino Schools Honored on Education Excellence Honor Roll
San Marino High School Carver Elementary and Valentine Elementary were named Just for Kids California Honor Roll Scholar schools for 2005 by the California Business for Education Excellence Foundation based on CST scores. A separate $100,000 grant will upgrade San Marino High's upper athletic field with irrigation fencing and is set to begin mid June after Grad Night, closure during summer.
