Patrons await the annual Book Fair as volunteers unload boxes of books and set up signs and umbrellas. Bob Robison oversees electrical hookups and counters loaned equipment while Scouts and San Marino police guard overnight. By Friday evening ten thousand donations are tarped for protection.

San Marino High School Art Exhibit Winners Announced
San Marino High School announced winners of the 24th annual art exhibit. Best of Show went to Diane Chang for an acrylic portrait of a child and dog, with a prize of 180 dollars. Other top awards included We In Chen for poster design and multiple category prizes across mixed media, color drawings, water color, black and white drawings, and acrylics with cash awards of 40, 25, and 10 dollars for first, second, and third places.
