Porsche Stolen From Garage
A bright yellow 1964 Porsche coupe was stolen from Cambridge road owner George E. DuNah's garage early Saturday. A babysitter in the home received a call around 7 pm from a male voice asking for George and promising a return call. Police say the key was left in the ignition and the garage door was unlocked. Officer Gerald Montgomery investigated the theft and noted additional tools under the hood.

Boy on Bike Strikes Pickup in Huntington Drive Mishap
Ten year old Robert Wenzlau of West Haven Road rode east on Huntington Drive sidewalk and rode into a crosswalk where he struck a turning pickup driven by Alan Beckley of South Pasadena. No injuries reported. Police Officer John Higginbotham filed the incident.

A fire in the kitchen of C. C. Harvey on Cambridge Road caused about 2000 in damage Tuesday morning just before 10.00. Harvey said a plastic waste basket under the sink burned after he emptied an ashtray, producing heavy smoke that damaged contents throughout the house. Firemen used a fog generator to clear smoke and odors.

Building valuation in April dropped 84 901.00 from 1966 figures while city records show 114 392.64 for 65 permits. compared with 209 233.75 in April 1968.
